Bay Trail Melbourne - Half moon bay
Half moon bay along the Bay Trail
Distance from Melbourne: approx 30 min
Length: 1km - 28.8km

There is a trail all the way from Port Melbourne to Mordialloc. Being in Melbourne, this is a very easily accessible trail so you can do the entire trail or just do a section.
My favorite section of this trail is Mentone to Half Moon Bay. There are plenty of water taps, toilets, cafes along the way. If you’re lucky you might even spot some dolphins!

This coastal trail links together several walking tracks into one. It can be done in sections or as one long hike. My favourite section of this trail is Blairgowrie to Bridgewater Bay.
The trail switches from walking along sandy beaches to gravel tracks. The trail is well-marked and includes spectacular coastal views the entire way.
